Sebi explores two options for mutual fund performance fee plan

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is considering at least two structures for mutual funds to charge a product outperformance fee from investors. The options that the capital markets regulator is looking at involve introducing fixed and variable fee components. The proposal to introduce a performance fee structure for the first time in India comes in the wake of Sebi's plan to overhaul the Total Expense Ratio structure.
